New York 2098
Playwright Kaley Roth Mamo commissioned me to create a poster for her one-act play, New York 2098, which was running at the Secret Theatre as part of the 2024 Queens Short Play Festival. The story is about two teenaged students in the year 2098 who get trapped in a classroom as their Manhattan high school sinks underwater.

I made the title treatment using polymer clay and two cigarettes, a nod to the main prop in the play. After sculpting the letters, I photographed them and imported them into Photoshop where I adjusted them to my liking—I wanted them to look high-contrast and shiny, with bubble-gum tones and thick seams, without manipulating them too much that they lost their connection to the real world. I especially wanted to preserve my fingerprints in them to give it that handmade touch.
