Debtworld
I pitched several concepts to WWDN, a taskforce whose mission was to inform Gen Z about the growing crisis of the American national debt. The approved idea, Debtworld, is a portrait of a place where the projected changes brought on by our astronomically increasing national debt are wrecking havoc—social security has dried up and there’s no money available for civic projects like road maintenance or disaster relief from oncoming climate change. The project unfortunately did not end up launching but the illustrations I did for it were influential in the development of my creative sensibility.

As a secondary part of the same project (and as such was also struck), the client loved my Debtworld illustration so much that I was asked to also create two editorial illustrations to accompany what would’ve been a blog post further educating Gen Z about the national debt crisis.
